Kanelli, is a vibrant Greek South African vocalist. She has been performing on the Greek jazz scene actively since 2007. Has studied Jazz improvisation at the Atheneum Conservatory in Athens, and participated in international Jazz workshops with JD Walter (New York), Judy Niemack (US), Deborah J Carter (USA/Holland), Miles Griffith (New York), Sheila Cooper (Canada/New York), Natascha Roth (Berlin/Cape Town), Sara Leib (California). Her rich performing experience and confident stage presence allows her to approach and involve even the hardest of audiences. Her repertoire spans from jazz standards to Afro fusion and Broadway musicals to disco funk. She was lead singer for band Jazznovation performing country wide their debut album which was launched in 2008 by label, The Sound of Everything together with En. Lefko Radio 87.7 having multiple daily air play. The album received great reviews with original compositions where she contributed vocals and lyrics.
